Our client is a leading online platform for classified ads — offering listings for goods, real estate, job vacancies, resumes, and services provided by individuals and companies.

Task

Finding the right candidate for this position presented a significant challenge due to several factors. The role required a rare combination of high-level marketing expertise and cross-functional experience, which drastically narrowed the talent pool. Additionally, the market capacity was limited — especially in terms of specialists with a strong background in B2C/C2C marketing as well as Product and Performance marketing.
Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven success in marketing, with deep understanding of industry strategies and practices
  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in B2C and C2C marketing, with a strong focus on user acquisition and retention
  • Ability to develop and implement product marketing strategies and optimize performance marketing metrics
  • CRM marketing experience, including the design and management of trigger-based communication campaigns
Process
